Many Egyptians have been attracted to Canada’s Express Entry system, Provincial Nominee Programs, and study permits that offer pathways to permanent residency, seeking better job opportunities, education, and stability amid Egypt’s economic challenges and political unrest, particularly following the 2011 revolution. The Egyptian Canadian community, now estimated at around 105,000, is diverse, comprising both Coptic Christians and Muslims, and is concentrated in cities like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Canada’s welcoming immigration policies and established Egyptian diaspora continue to make it a preferred destination for Egyptians seeking a new life.
