In New Brunswick, the foreign born population increased 28.1% from 26,400 in 2006 to 33,810 in 2016.

In New Brunswick, the largest immigrant groups were from the United States, United Kingdom, China, Germany and South Korea; together they accounted for 52% of the foreign-born population in this province.
