In 2021, a total of 406,030 foreign citizens were admitted to Canada as permanent residents.

These new immigrants came from more than 200 countries.

In recent years, China, the Philippines and India have been the top three source immigration countries to Canada.

In 2021, these countries accounted for 44% of total immigration to Canada.
